Consultation
We visit the property and go through it with you properly. Every question gets answered and everything is clarified before either side commits, so you know what the structure will take and what it will not.

Design
We work closely with you on the scheme, with a network of architects and designers on hand who work across all our projects. Where planning permission or Building Regulations approval is needed, we prepare the application and see it through.

Your project manager
A named project manager is appointed before the build starts and is your single point of contact throughout. You are never handed between people and you never have to work out who to ask.

Build and handover
Our own multi-disciplinary teams carry out the work stage by stage against the programme. BuildBuddy Hub gives you progress in real time and a live line for raising an issue or asking anything at all.
Every project ends with a full review on site. We walk the job with you room by room, and nothing is signed off until the quality satisfies us and it satisfies you.

What sets BuildBuddy apart is the range. We are equipped to take on work across four distinct sectors, and within each of them we deliver end to end, from the first drawing through to handover. Complex schemes are run by the same teams and under the same process as straightforward ones.

Extensions and new build
Single and two-storey extensions, structural openings between existing rooms, and new build taken from the groundworks up. Foundations, drainage, steelwork, roofing and the external envelope are all carried out by our own teams.

Residential refurbishment
Full refurbishment of houses and flats, from structural alteration and new services through to plastering, kitchens, bathrooms and decoration. Whole properties and single rooms, occupied or empty.

Commercial
Fit-out and refurbishment for offices, clinics and retail units. Partitions, suspended ceilings, mechanical and electrical services, flooring, joinery and decoration, delivered to the tenant specification.

HMO conversions
Houses and larger properties converted into licensed accommodation. Layouts reworked around fire separation and escape routes, fire detection, sound insulation between units, and the certification a licence requires.

We wanted clients to own their project, so we built the software that lets them.
We took the view that a client should hold the same picture of their build that we do, and have complete ownership of the project with sight of every part of it. Nothing on the market worked the way we had in mind, so we built it ourselves. The Hub is our own one-stop record of a job: the programme week by week, the payment schedule, every drawing, certificate and warranty, and any change to the contract waiting on a decision. The project manager updates it daily, as the work happens.
